SUPPORT OUR WORK

Supporting families navigating dementia — in Jamaica, in the diaspora, and in the communities that are still waiting to be reached.

Brain Health Without Barriers

In the Caribbean, most families living with dementia are doing so without a diagnosis, without support, and without knowing that help exists. Amagi was founded to change that — one family, one community, one conversation at a time.

WHAT WE DO

Identify
Brain health assessments that find the people who need help — before the crisis.

Support
Care coordination and caregiver coaching that walks families through what comes next.

Guide
Legal and financial safety planning, specialist navigation, and diaspora family consultations.

Amagi Health is a brain health and dementia care company operating at the intersection of clinical care, community outreach, and research. Our work started in Jamaica, and continues across the Caribbean and with diaspora communities in the UK, North America, and beyond.

OUR PROGRAMMES

DM · Dementia Moments
A series of community experiential workshops starting in Jamaica — breaking stigma, building early recognition, and connecting families to care. 6-8 sessions in 2026, across Kingston and other parishes.
BN · Brain Health Navigator
Structured support for families navigating dementia — from first concerns through diagnosis, care planning, and long-term coordination. Available in Jamaica and virtually for diaspora families.
CA · C.A.R.E. Consultations
Cognitive Assessment and Risk Evaluation — clinician-led assessments for individuals and families who want to understand their brain health and what to do about it.
CC · Caregiver Coaching

Practical, compassionate coaching for the people who are doing the caring — meeting families where they are, including diaspora caregivers managing from abroad.

Your contribution also supports the infrastructure behind these services.
Amagi is building a trained Caribbean brain health workforce through the Caribbean Neuropsychological Assessment Training Series (CNATS) — equipping psychologists and allied  professionals across Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad & Tobago to deliver standardised cognitive assessments and support the communities we serve. We are also co-leading the Pan-Caribbean ECHO on Aging & Dementia — a regional virtual education network connecting clinicians, researchers, and advocates across the Caribbean and Latin America. Both programmes are designated activities under the community contribution fund.
